FAQs for Kitten Factory.
Q. The program does not allow multiple colors and patterns.
A. In fact, the program is specifically designed to be flexible. The checkboxes and option buttons are designed to allow as many combinations as possible without being excessively complex. Furthermore, you can specify any combination by editing the texts, either in the Modify window or in the boxes next to each parent cat.
Q. The genetics you give are wrong.

Q. The cats I am breeding could produce x number of possibilities, but your program only gives 5.
A. The program is designed to simulate litters. You won't get 50 cats in one litter. However, by
repeatedly breeding the cats in the program, you will eventually see every combination. Usually the
first few (simulated) litters will give you an idea of what to expect. For example, you may be getting
mackerel and classic tabbies and dilute mackerels, so you can expect dilute classic tabbies too.
If you are looking for something in particular, you can keep pressing the breed button until the desired
cat appears in the litter. If you wish to further breed this kitten, it can then be dragged (by its gender symbol) to the appropriate parent field.
