The Super Soaper's Calculator
Calculates the amount of lye and water to add to a batch of oils to make soap. Supports both sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide, lye solutions, and sodium lactate. Includes an extensive list of oils which can be easily added to; also allows the user to enter sap values manually for oils not listed in the application.

Alien Sun 3.0
See the view from anywhere in the universe
Has 3 modes: sky atlas, planetarium, and sun clock. The sky atlas view shows stars, planets, moons, galaxies, and
optionally satellites, asteroids, and comets. Stellar data are based on Hipparcos and other professional star catalogues.
Proper motions and variability of stars are accounted for, as are osculating orbital elements of lesser bodies.
The planetarium feature lets you see the sky from any planet or any solid body, within our solar system or beyond.
Includes constellation lines, names, and boundaries; produces spectacular realistic images of planets
and moons. You can even add your own planets and moons, be they minor natural satellites or entire fictitious solar systems.
Gives coordinates, distances, and magnitudes (where possible) of all celestial objects
as seen from any location in the universe.

CVA (Calculator of Vision of Anything) 1.5
Very feature-rich program concerning color vision of
humans, nonhuman animals, and artificial vision systems.
Includes data for nearly 200 animal species and over
250 spectral distribution curves. Also data for films and CCDs.
Use a phylogenic tree to select animals, or a dialog
for artificial vision systems. You can even add your own
entries to both the tree and the dialog. Allows multiple
simultaneous vision systems, and has a recently-used-file
list (of spectral curves) for convenience when comparing
vision systems. Spectral curves can be created and edited
easily with the powerful built-in editing functions.
Observe single colors or entire pictures through simulated
animal eyes using the native Multiband Image Format. Even
store your own pictures in multiband format - up to
256 wavelength bands in the region of 1-32000 nm, plus

Alien Sun 2.1
See the night sky from outside the solar system!
Begins with a 3-dimensional model of the most important stars.
Also includes planets, satellites (natural and artificial), galaxies,
and asteroids. Variable stars and proper motions accounted for.
The night-sky feature shows stars according to the latest
data from professional astronomical catalogs (including Hipparcos). This feature lets you see the night sky from other
star systems or other planets within our solar system, with a facility
for choosing any viewpoint in the entire 3D model. It includes constellation
lines and names, and produces spectacular realistic images of planets
and moons.
Gives spectral types, absolute magnitudes, distances, and apparent magnitudes
as they would appear from any location.

Whether you're a layperson or a PhD, you'll love GHOTI, a
